What is your definition of a pastor? Or more to the point, who do you think the best storytellers of our day are?

Just had an interesting conversation with my wife yesterday about pop culture. She's in a class on modernism, and one guy was arguing that pop culture is irrelevant because it's purely entertainment, while another is arguing it's important because it's entertainment that is more likely to reach the masses, as opposed to academic articles. So that got me thinking about how people like jay-z, p diddy, Steven Spielberg, and virtually every other successful artist and director is much better about getting their "message" or "story" out than any other pastor I know of, even the likes of Joel Osteen. I may dislike him, but he still (somehow) has the largest congregation in the USA.

I admire anybody who is willing to commit their entire life to a solitary goal. That includes pastors.
