What kind of teas do you tea drinkers enjoy? Recently went to a local tea shop with a bunch of fancy tea. So far my favorite is a Jasmine green. So flavorful and aromatic, also got a lychee black tea thats really good. Haven't been disappointed by any so far and bought about 8 different types of looseleaf.

Hot bean water.
Or matcha. Matcha’s a good second.

As someone born in GA sweet tea is about the only tea I drink. But as for hot tea, I do branch out from time to time, so I just might look to this thread if it takes off for recommendations.

I do a lot of public speaking so I will a cup and put a ginger chew and honey in the bottom. Then I’ll put in a lemon ginger tea bag and a peppermint tea bag (both caffeine free) and then pour in hot water and let it steep. It’s like the mint majesty (medicine ball) tea from Starbucks but with added ginger because it’s great for the voice

Ive never been a huge fan of ginger, its oddly spicy but not in a traditional spicy way. It reminds me of the store bought wasabi. mint tea always bangin and refreshing though, got a mint red tea that is awesome.

Yes I completely get what you mean. Like how wasabi is spicy but not the traditional type. It’s good for the voice and throat that’s the only reason I use it.Ive never been a huge fan of ginger, its oddly spicy but not in a traditional spicy way. I always used it with an upset tummy and it does its job damn well. Never thought it would be good for the voice too, must soothe the speaking flaps in your throat or something

Black tea from Ceylon, only the tips of the leaves. Add milk and drink hot.

ive always been weary about putting milk in tea. Ive put a little with some honey in earl gray before and it didnt was pretty good but im hesitant with other teas

Interesting, how often do you declare "i am going to put ice in my tea" as you hold a glass of un-iced tea, then proceed to enjoy said tea WITHOUT ice despite everyone assuming you were going to add ice? Because at that point it would be just silly to leave the ice out.Rͣeͩeͩferjuana wrote:

I finally tried a 7 year aged pu-erh I bought a couple weeks ago and damn! I was not expecting the flavor! So smooth and earthy. Is it apperently a fermented tea which makes its flavor a bit more unique
