Rush - Tom Sawyer #1 this year. Last year was Jessieโs Girl. Oh and GloRilla sent me a message.

If I had to listen to Jessieโs girl that many times Iโd literally blow my head off

Subscription based life is a ridiculous concept. I have 3,505 minutes on Spotify, because I just load my phone up with songs I actually own instead of renting access.

I generally dislike the subscription model but on this one I disagree, I feel like music is a perfect example of where subscription makes sense. Say you spend $120 a year on Spotify, how many albums does that even get you? 12? 24 max? I can say with 100% confidence I listen to quadruple that in new music alone. Plus included audiobooks. It just makes so much more sense especially because on a lot of albums only a few songs will really be good.

What effort? I type in what I want, click a button, it downloads, I have it forever even when Iโm not on the internet, like on a plane or in the desert or on a boat. I get exactly the music I want, whenever I want it. No fluff, no subscription, no fee. Canโt believe people are not only ok with paying a subscription for every aspect of their life but also defending it.ฮปฮฮuviรธฮท wrote:

See thatโs why Spotify is great and why itโs so popular. You donโt have to pay anything unless you want to. Spotify is one of the very few subscriptions I have. I donโt have any tv type subs. I like to discover new music on it. I would never find half the stuff I listen to otherwise. I also use the Spotify subscription on a credit card I donโt otherwise use, just for the positive monthly credit reporting and retaining that chunk of credit in good standing in case I ever need it. Sure, I could make one charge a month on this and a couple other cards, but this is much easier. Not to mention no need for transfers to my phone.
