I propose we hold a ‘clean the map’ tournament.
Rules are you can only cap those who haven’t planted a turf in the last year.
Not only will we get rid of turf from years ago but we may ‘awaken’ some players who still have the app on their phone but don’t log in.
And don’t give me that ‘we need income’ garbage. It’s not 2010, everyone has plenty of income.

I remember getting grilled for capping inactive back in the day. But yeah don’t think it’s an issue now. There are plenty of good income spots and flowers on the map.
I capped one of cannabal catfish turf not too long ago just to have one -
I just cap Roger and he’s fairly active

Something to do other than building gardens. Or blocking islands/airports.
Get rid of free tax turfs. This could make new players actually struggle a little which may force them to be more engaged if they want to be successful.
Old players who aren’t doing anything but checking once a month may get annoyed people are capping them and play again.
I’ve always hated the no capping inactive rule.
I was pooping and wanted to write a post and this is all I could come up with.

There was a town that gave all their high school students iPads. They all joined turf wars and had a massive newb battle over control of the town. Then the school year ended and they had to return the iPads.
It was great taxing. I became capo and kinda protected it, asking people to tax instead of cap. That was ten years ago and I still ask new players not to cap. 🙄
But I got more dollars than I could ever spend, money is worthless now. Maybe I should stop that behavior. 🤷
