My problem with this is you donโt need an event to do something. Take over a town, take out an unsuspecting player for a few days, cap inactives, cap actives, start a war with a small alliance.
You canโt just sit in an alliance that hasnโt warred since TC was an actual active alliance then complain youโre bored and need a war game.
Then to leave people out who actually want to participate because theyโre โcontroversialโ? Lame.

You donโt need an event like gas day to cap whoever but people are still pushing to make that a thing. Itโs a normal stance to want to do something in a limited capacity without the guarantee of having to spend the next 3 years running turf lists, scanning maps, and planning vendettas.
In addition, these events force you to mix and work with other folks you never had before. If none of that resonates or makes sense to you, itโs not for you. In the earlier days of the app it wasnt unheard of to be enemies with each other, fighting in three countries but parked on top of each other and not waging war in another 8, eventually that disappeared.

If we stopped trying to reset/annihilate anyone who lifts a finger against us, maybe the game would still have more players left. -

Cap everything! Burn it all to the ground. Don't even look at who owns the circles. Cap cap cap until you run out of espressos or get capped out of the area.

Iโll be a team captain under a few conditions:
1) I only want players who share the same map mind set as me. No cross contamination please.
2) no turf capsโฆonly profile attacks as I donโt want to fuck up my chances of the side competition I'm currently in.
3) No stealing or resetting any of my capos. Those are my crowning achievements and legacy in this game.
4) You have to convince Rud & bonze to come back and theyโre on my team.
