have yall seen it? whats your thoughts on it?

I really liked it! Kind of took Superman through a new but familiar lens. Really touched on some relevant topics without being heavy and showed how Superman would navigate problems he can’t just punch.

Any superhero movie in the past 8-10 years are all just cheesy, woke, gay, and stupid. So assuming this one is no different. Quick google search confirms my suspicions talking about changing his perception on truth and justice based on new world views

Here you’ll see the difference between someone who watches movies and someone who just wants to participate in the culture war

i'm pro superman. that being said, things that diminish him and build up others im usually against. i am for showcasing aspects other than punching his way through things. kryponite is played out. stop comparing him to humans. hes not. there are other super villians that can give him a run. opening lines in this movie called him a meta. 🤮. of course movies are a medium/engine for the culture war. i try my best to ignore and focus more on the main fantasy and lore in the story.

i knew pretty quick what was going on in this movie. i held out hope but had it figured from near the start.

Superhero movies are almost as bad as The Hallmark Channel. I haven’t watched any movie from start to finish in about 10 months. 😂

speaking of bad movies.... have yall see the new war of the worlds movie with ice cube in it?

Love the cutbacks to the first movie like the caddy growing up and shaking his own caddy -
Can’t believe I wasted about 90mins on this trash.

Does anybody in this discussion actually like superhero movies? Superman 2025 and fantastic 4 were some of the best recent movies from both major companies, and frankly I think they are both evidence that the companies are turning things around and focusing on more quality content. I could definitely be wrong but I really think these two movies were a step in the right direction.

As someone who is against the woke media, and was very much so a fan of the snyderverse…I had low expectations for this film. I just watched it the other night and was actually pleasantly surprised. I thought it was a great film. I have a pretty good eye for catching the woke agenda being shoved down our throat and there wasn’t anything glaring that came up as (in your face). Also I think Henry Cavill was a great portrayal of Superman, but it was to real at times. Superman is supposed to be fun, and a beacon of hope. I don’t want to be depressed after I watch some movies. I felt the new Superman movie was very refreshing. Also there was a lot of comic accuracy such as Green Lantern… SPOT ON

Also I love this iteration of Lois and lex, they both did great

Shoutout Nathan Fillion, actor who played Guy.

was some hints of the previous, but for a sequel... better than any other!
for the super hero thing, and all the other sequels they bring in that category, its wrong, way played out and making movies about crap that has nothing ro do with who theses characters were originally! why not just come up with a new super hero and have nothing of the real world in it! #makemoviesgreatagain! lol
