I’m almost certain a joke X post a few years back got a fella charged and subsequently convicted something to do with misinformation by posting the wrong day to vote (a day later) and encouraged the dems to vote then. One thing the left does is vote early and often!

A large lithium deposit was found in Wyoming- millions needed to clear areas for mining access and infrastructure. There happens to be a large wild fire taking place while the media is focused on Florida hurricanes. Meanwhile the company who has the mining rites- their stock has gone up 40%

The world went to shit when people started working bs jobs to pay for the things they should be working to provide in the first place. This way of life is not sustainable on a grand scale. Everything is bound to hit the fan eventually. We live in a world widely lost to nature and that forgets that survival is the only thing that matters. We can still uphold a standard of living, but cities, towns, etc, should overall strive to be self sufficient and trade excess goods with other areas to get what they can’t get in their area. Why do I need a tshirt made by a manufacturer when people used to make their own clothes? We put ourselves in this prison and need to ask ourselves why we live the way we do. I’m not sure how this would work, but continuing to get everything from a few places is only gonna make things harder and harder to possess as they can control the market and continue to raise prices with little competition.

I agree with some points, we need to be more self sufficient. Local tailors close down while cheap shit Chinese clothes are all that’s produced. A massive chunk of irelands food is imported, a lot of what we grow here is cattle feed or grass for them. New Zealand and Australia were self sufficient during the pandemic and got away largely unscathed with little contact outside their bubble. Ireland would fall apart at the seems if because of some climate disaster we couldn’t inport food. The world went to shit when people started working bs jobs to pay for the things they should be working to provide in the first place. Yea you're right about it being complicated for some places to be fully self sufficient. I for one have no idea how to make things work differently, but just know we need to do more as people to get things done instead of putting our faith in politicians. Love and respect for one another is a big first step
-
Making clothes can take many hours of my time. My skills are better spent doing what I do best. Then I can go to the store and buy a shirt for $10. Self-sufficient is not efficient. It takes a civilization to help each other and learn from each other and protect each other.
-
Yes the BC provincial election should be something else.

I’m not advocating for making you own clothes, everyone has a role and maybe that’s not yours but I think the majority of the clothes we buy should be made in our own countries. Food too. Exactly, it still takes a village! Everyone should have a job to work too, even if your dumb as bricks there is something you can do to help those around you. This dog eat dog society isn’t the way to goBigAl! wrote:

Not sure if people will have heard of Ted Kaczynski but his book made some very valid points. His way of going about things completely diluted what he was trying to say, though. The way we have implemented cars and phones, things designed to make us more free, have actually made us very much less free.
-
Ted Kaczynski had paranoid schizophrenia. He had an extremely high IQ, but killed people by setting off bombs. I think like 20 bombs over 15 years. I'd have to look it up. I'm not sure what he was trying to say. But if was so happy with his reclusive life style, why kill people? I think he was not happy. He was probably happier in prison.

The most patriotic thing you can do today is not vote and partake in this garbage system.
Don't consent to this game of being ruled by a lesser of 2 evils. Just cause the majority of our population are nimrods and win. Thats not freedom.
"You have no choice but to vote" GTFO of here with that. Im not participating. fuck your pedo presidents. None of you know who they really are.
Or go voooote and feel like a devout countryman for getting your ass off the couch and picking your tyrant of choice. Its a free country right?
