Heard that the mayors of some places told people who stayed to keep identification on them so they could be identified when they died. A statement like that would have me run for the hills.

Righttttt in the path.

When Irma came thru, Broward County Sheriff came on the TV and said, “if anyone’s going to stay through this, the only thing you’re going to need to supply yourself with is a black Sharpie marker. Just go ahead and write your name and social security number on your forearm, so we can identify your body after the storm.”

Hope all in the path will be safe and any damage is dealt with quickly. Also hoping damage will not be as bad as officials predict. It is always better to be safe than to be sorry. Hatten down the batches and I will drink to those impacted. Fuck Milton and the bitch he rode in on.

I just saw a few videos of Sarasota getting some flooding but not seen anything else yet - how’s it looking down there?
-
Looking good. We’re luckier than most. Those close to the coast got screwed. The tornado’s in the southern half of the state got screwed. We don’t have power but considering what others are going through we’re in good shape.

I slept through most of it. Took one day to clean up the mess in yard.

Yeah I saw online that some places were really affected by it but a lot of people expected worse in their areas - what cat did it end up being when it hit land?

Just don’t believe anything Jim Cantore says. That mofo set up next to the ocean (literally 20 ft away) at a slightly below sea level parking garage to get views. He’s a joke.

No updates? Did we forget about it already? Or we too busy looking at the northern lights toeven care?

Worked out well the weather was nice. Both flights were shorter than scheduled. Orlando to st aug took less than 2 hrs drive. Forgot my ez pass so the tolls being suspended was clutch
