Forums › General Discussion › can someone explain how to be powerful without a large mob?-
i know mob is important, but seen some posts about how mob isn't everything. I'm a little confused, can you be a powerful player with a small mob???? xxx

Max cap skill

No chance really. Utilize the loot event to get more hench and Bren guns. Hench/mob is the only way to power
-
Mob isn’t everything but it’s a lot. Probably the best way is to make friends with big guys

With a few thousand dollars and a good team backing you up.

Kali here hit it on the head, a good family to be there for you. It will also take some money to really compete but there are ways to minimize this. 😡With a few thousand dollars and a good team backing you up.

Mostly max your capture and spread around the map. Leave turf outside of busy areas and keep eyes on them. You will want to spend some(i do $5 a week and two turf a day). Maxing cap is around $250-300 if you buy it all at once. You dont have to spend thousands, but probably $500 to get a decent bit of turf and max ur cap

Yes. But It Isn’t that simple. Small mob can be lethal If you understand range advantage. The smaller the better range against bigger mob. But you need max cap skill, and would still need to depend on players who would join a v with you against bigger players. Diplomacy Is a very Important part In this game. Make allies before you make enemies.i know mob is important, but seen some posts about how mob isn't everything. I'm a little confused, can you be a powerful player with a small mob???? xxx

Correct, people will have to be closer to you to cap you. Are you In the discord server? I have posts that would help you understand stuff like this. And more posts to come☯ƦōƝɪℕ☯ wrote:

Size matters not.
Look at me.
Judge me by my size do you? Huh? Hmmm..
And well you should not.

If you’re starting out there is no way you will be able to become one of the top mob member accounts- So. Max cap skill, get a high turf limit , get into AP’s. And stay under 10,000 total mob- then you can be an effective ranger & have some fun.

So I was told that’s what it is in the past. I guess I don’t see why that is such a powerful skill to set up? If someone wants to set up on you and cap you out, is it really that much of an inconvenience to plant your turf a little closer to theirs? Am I missing something?Uglyladdie wrote:

If you can cap from 1500 yards and they can cap you at 500 yards - then you set in their turf at between 501 and 1500 yards. Yes they can spam you after you do that but they have to wait 24 hours before they can cap from that fresh turf. You can cap their spam - up to your daily limit on them + the turf(s) you set on originally- that’s the advantage
-
If you are in a V with larger players against larger players your range advantage will change but still will be an advantage (in most cases). V’s can also have counter V’s dynamics at play. Read up on the V guides for the limits on what is the lowest account and highest account you can add to a V - how that changes the range. Get in V’s and practice. Understand how to use loot to knock v targets into ER so they aren’t available for use as defense when you attack
-
And don’t take caps as personal unless it is personal
-
You can’t. You’re 13 years too late to this game. Go find something else more fun to play

Thx so much everyone! I feel this has helped me lots to understand the game better! I'll work on all the points you've raised xxx

For simplicity let’s assume It’s a bigger player but small enough for you to cap without a vendetta.
So If this player wants to cap you they would have to be closer than you would have to be to cap this players turf. If the player Is not even close enough to cap you, you may still be close enough to cap them.
It’s an advantage because you can be closer to cap the turf and they may not be close enough or may have to be very close.
Without cap skill the player can be further away to cap you.
The Idea Is players want to be out of another’s players radius to cap them but not be capped themselves. It’s great for offense and defense.
