Punch code return rate
Forums › General Discussion › Punch code return rate-
I’m going to start tracking the return rate from punching regular codes and temp codes.
What I’m thinking of doing is punching 100 codes at a time, and then waiting multiple hours to try and gauge the return rates over a period of time. As of now I’m planning on tracking three criteria: % of nonexistent codes, % of codes already invited, and % return tracked each hour.
I just started this account and do not have a big mob, so I will see if there’s any kind of formula I can derive to depict the loss of return in proportion to mob growth. If you have any suggestions as to how I can make this more effective, please let me know!

I did punch some random codes every now and then so the real number should be 68-70%

I appreciate the input so far, it’s definitely super valuable to hear from players that have a lot of experience with this as of recent. I’m still trying to decide exactly how I want to do this, but so far I think I’m going to track the returns for a batch of punches every hour (as much as I can) and wait until the rate stagnates or drops consistently for multiple hours on end before punching another batch.
I think waiting multiple days between would get me the most accurate results, but I’m also trying to grow my mob for my own benefit as well. Maybe I do one batch every day and track the rate of change day-to-day to show what happens when you’re consistent with it.
I also want to track the effectiveness of different sources, temps or regular codes, etc.
Who knows, I’m half doing this out of boredom so maybe I decide it’s too much work and just get back to punching codes whenever I want
