My younger son became an Eagle Scout last night. Now both my boys are Eagles. 😺

Congrats! My dad's dad was in scouts during WWII, and in his area there were no adult males who could serve as leaders, so the boys just went through the handbook and figured stuff out as best they could. He grew up and wanted all of his sons to be eagle scouts; all 4 of his sons and so far all of his grandsons, including my 5 brothers and me, are all eagles as well.

Yes. It's very difficult to achieve and demonstrates extremely fine character.

Mine is still a bear in cub scouts. If he sticks with it, I hope he achieves Eagle when he gets older.

Congrats to both your boys! That says a lot about them both and you as a parent. Great job. Something for the whole family to be proud of and a giant stepping stone from which to launch many things.
