anyone got any good counterfeit stories? Just got a lady come into my work this morning with 2 obviously fake hundreds and 4 other suspect hundreds that passed the pen but not visual inspection. "I just got off work at an under the table job, I worked for 7 hours for those, and god, I'm a single mother I don't know what to do. Good thing I know where they live! Are you sure they're fake? They look real to me!" One day a dude brought in a $1 bill with a bunch of 20's printed over the one and was SHOCKED and APPAULED that it was fake

Back in my weed selling days, I had someone pay me with a fake $50. I had no idea and used it to pay for something at the gym I was going to at the time. During the middle of a set I had a cop tap my shoulder and I had no clue why. I figured my car smelled like gas🤣 I told them it was given to me by someone I did some work for and they believed me. The gym didnt even make me pay them back

Not me but a cousin. He was working at a bar (behind the counter) and someone tried to pay for a pint with a €6 note 😂 Naturally the man had no idea it was fake 😂 😂😂😂😂

When I was working beats I attempted a traffic stop on a car with fake tags but then a car chase ensued. Chase ended in a crash, driver bailed but the passenger couldn’t get out. In the back seat was thousands of counterfeit us bills. We ended up getting the drivers address and with secrecy service we busted the drivers house door in and found a printer and thousands more counterfeit bills. It led to 7 arrests. It was a good day!

We used to take fake $100’s to county fairs and shit to get rid of them. But almost no one had pens or anything back then.
Recently I got a real but old $100 on a cruise ship after I won some money at the casino. No one would take it and told me it was fake. Finally had to take it to a bank to get rid of it.

All money is fake. It only has value because you give it value.
It just paper, it should be backed by gold to give it value. But now they just print it, its all worthless -
Money ain't fake if it buys me real stuff like pork chops and beer. Gold is worthless too under that thinking. It's just metal that we put a huge number behind. Money is just paper that we put a number on. But, that number correlates to how many pork chops and beers I can buy. That's real enough for me.

When I worked bingo, we used to get lots of weird money. Wet money, money with drawings on, bloody money, money someone printed on their inkjet, and even got a bill stamped evidence one day.

When I was selling some illegal stuff back in the day (years back), someone gave me fake notes…. I didn’t realise and used them in the local takeaway. They clocked, told me and then said “get us more fake notes”
I got free food for about a year 🤣
