Crypto anyone?
Forums › General Discussion › Crypto anyone?-
I’ve been buying and trading crypto since 2012 and mining since 2016. Mostly Alt coins like solana, ripple, stellar, and etherium. With the dollar losing value every day and the U.S. political candidates talking about investing billions into bitcoin, what are your thoughts on crypto? Any non-believers changing their tune? Any crypto owners abandoning crypto? Turfing minds want to know…..

I've got 5.5 million shib Inu coins. Worth about 80 bucks. Had them for years, most they went up was about 100 my way but I didn't sell cause I figured one day maybe they'll be worth a bit. Or absolutely nothing. That's half the fun!

I haven’t heard much on crypto from one of the candidates. The other will be a pump and dump or shady payoffs scheme, like the communications company is. A president could potentially have the government investing big into crypto to pump their own holdings, then comes the dump at Americans expense.

That was a concern also, however I’ve heard rumors of a couple of countries whose currency devalued so much that they are considering adopting a specific crypto (not bitcoin) as their national currency.I haven’t heard much on crypto from one of the candidates. Anyone here heard of quantum currency or quantum financial systems? Completely regulated by the blockchain ledger….

The value of the dollar, while not an all time high, is higher than it was 6 months ago, 1 year ago, and 5 years ago. It looks like the only times it’s been higher were the mid 80’s and the early 2000’s. We aren’t going anywhere.

I used to struggle with smoking too much crypto myself.

Computer company crashes, internet scams, and international breaches keep me using the paper.

I fully expect the day when the govt or fed reserve simply decides to ban crypto. Bubble pop. It’s not unprecedented, many nations have already banned it. After all, what do they have to gain by allowing it, besides personal gain if they are shorting the dollar? It is basically a hacker currency used by criminals on the dark web. Meanwhile they do control the dollar, and should be interested in it maintaining its global dominance… A lot of unsophisticated investors own crypto, no judgement, just some experienced advice- you only make money if you sell it. You don’t have to sell all, a wise strategy is to take out your initial investment (Accounting for taxes) and play with the houses money…

Basically Russia, China and a few other dictatorships.... they ban everything they can't control.

Check your source, biased outlets like to say 9 because crypto is outright banned in 9, but they fail to mention banking bans. In most countries banks are responsible for commodity (Or currencies if that’s how you see it) law and regulation. I think it’s 52 countries that currently ban it if you count outright and banking bans. Most of them feature weak or sensitive national currencies. It’s fairly obvious that these countries are acting first in order to protect their national currencies. Regulations on newer things generally take a very long time, crypto’s regulations are definitely coming. Dictatorships are always able to act quickest, as there’s less bureaucracy and red tape they have to deal with.BIЯDS wrote:
