Families, tags, and the current state of turf wars….

I started playing turf wars in 2011 as a way to pass the time while waiting to pick up an ex girlfriend from work. I had no idea how involved it would get or how I would delete the game for a few years while real life kicked my ass. I also never figured I would redownload the app and play again. Even when logging in back in April, my plan was to pop on, say hello and dip out again. But here I am.
But, I noticed the large groups who used to battle seem to be no more. What happened to TWFC, DBR, CAPO, and the others? They all seem to have splintered into smaller “families” and the fight banter seems to have completely disappeared from the forums.
I haven’t actively been part of capo for about 5 years and haven’t spoken to many of the old players. I’ve been thinking about dropping tags as I’m not even sure if they serve a purpose anymore and I seem to have no affiliation with any group. So what’s with all the “new” families and groups? Splinter cells, new factions? Inquiring turfers want to know!!

All I can say is that the stargazer family is the best family that a player could be a part of

2014 gang, I have this game sitting in the back of my phone ever since. Never got super involved and never punched hard but I remember all the big fun.

No time for wars. They were fun for me for about a week and then too much work

LAW was linked with TWFC. Havoc and crew were with DBR. When airports opened we all flew and hopped out to a spot Smasher had. Only one I remember constantly fighting was Macas. Fun times. Talked to Smasher a lot on the other side. He always wanted me to cap him instead of the bad guys. Lol -
Yeah I had good battles against bomp and foot

Lex Talionis (see TAT’s profile above) is the more active branch of capo, just under a different name if you want to get back involved, a lot of smaller families died off after larger wars or were absorbed by BAIC or fungal expansion.I started playing turf wars in 2011 as a way to pass the time while waiting to pick up an ex girlfriend from work.
