Yes, my best friend for over 15+ years. I asked him be the best man in my wedding. I’m from the east coast and my wife from the deep south so we had the wedding in her home state. That is 20+ hours where I am from. He told me he wouldn’t be able to make the trip because of financial issues him and his wife were going through, which was fine I understood.
When I was on my honeymoon, I saw on social media he and his wife had flown to Chicago to go to a Kanye West concert. He was even sending pictures of the concert in the group chat that we were all in while I was on my honeymoon. I also heard he had been buying expensive clothes and shoes and bragging about it to people at his job. So much for financial problems.
I never called him out or said anything. After I got back he constantly tried to get together and said he would drop everything to grab a bite to eat. I politely declined.
I’m not bitter, we have gone our separate ways and I wish him the best. Just sad it took 15 years to see who he truly was.

I walked into a restaurant that said “we treat you like family”
I immediately walked out. I don’t need that kind of abuse while I’m trying to enjoy a meal 🤷🏼‍♂️
