  There are several phone tracker apps. Cheaper too.
  Try iHound.

  Nope they now offer the phone finder service without subscription on the iPhone 4. It may be available for the 3GS but am not sure. 3G owners like myself still have to pay for that service.

  It's on the featured app list and the top free list.

  I just looked it up, it's called find my phone. It's developed by apple and found under featured-> what's hot on the app store. The only phone it works on is the 4 with 4.2.

  Not true. It works on 3GS and I think 3G as well. You have to create the account first from a current gen device though. Once created you can download the app and login and it will work fine.

  If you have MobileMe it will work on any device.

  Correction, Find My iPhone is FREE for iPhone 4's (4.2) and iPod touch 4G's (4.2).

  You have to pay on other devices.
