Anyone here find anything cool? Lake near me has only produced old rusty bikes and scooters. I want to get my hands on a metal detector but the good ones are expensive

I got into metal detecting about 10 years ago. I have a Garrett Ace 300. It’s been very good and reliable. I have found Diamond rings, Diamond bracelets, earrings, sunglasses and much more. I take it to the beach every year and cash in on what I find. I will usually walk away with $1K-3K depending on the find

That's a very nice gesture bud, I'm sorry for your loss. Though, I'm in no position to buy something like that, it's more of a pipe dream than anything. Maybe you should keep it and go metal detecting on his behalf? Maybe you'll find yourself a little something something.

That's crazy, as much as I might wanna say I just wanna dig up cool stuff and dolt care about the money I dream of digging up gold rings/jewelery lol even just 1 silver eagle and I'll be happy but free gold is a big bonus
