I just downloaded Logic Pro. Anyone create music in turf world?

What kinda music you gonna be making? We talking electronic type beep boop music or something with a little more soul? I don't make music myself but I do listen to it sometimes.

I bet. Ain't no easy task. Got a friend who's a rapper (not a big fan of his rap but he has a song with xzibit so I guess he's doing something right) and he spends so much time just making his beats. Time consuming as fuck but he loves it and gets into a trance after a while

I am a producer and run a small electronic music label. I mostly use FL Studio these days now the Mac version is stable. I like Logic. A lot of studios I work in have it as the main DAW.

Good daws, I think most ppl learnt in fl years ago when it was shit, but it's a good daw now, although I run mainly external plugs, vst'is to audio. Generally just bounce to audio, I think that's a key feature that fl added. Makes it so much easier.
But I'll run
Omnispherer for mids
And
Serum for bass.
With vsts like duck, or camel phat, valhalla reverb 👌

FL was never shit. It just had its roots in trackers (actually, it sorta started as a sex toy but that’s a whole other story) rather than midi sequencers and/or multitrackers so it was massively misunderstood in the early days. I created a lot of content for them around 2002/3 when it was starting to move away from being a tracker and more into the realms of becoming a DAW. Despite having used just about every DAW, I always come back to FL.

I like it for drums, although I don't like the core sound. I find it hollow, needs alot of mixing to reach alberton or logic core export sound. I'd generally bounce the stems to logic for a final mix down. But this is common, if you wack on isotope, it will deffo help, but still argue within myself if its good enough.
I should really use NI PLUGS on windows, as I don't have the apple fl. But if it mapped correctly now without bugs, I might get that version.

The “core sound” is your sound card. If you can’t make it sound good, that’s on you.

no no, not the soundboard, every DAW has a sound. CUBASE, LOGIC, PROTOOLS, and so on. They all sound different, even with processing. Of them all, FL is defo the worst.
