I’ve been away from this game for over 10 years. The game has gone all PC from what I am seeing. What’s happened to all the abuse and banter?

I was around late 09 to sometime in 2012ish and just came back in November. The forums back then were pretty generally respectful but had a lot more people participating. So lots of beef still popped off in the forums. We probably can count on our fingers and toes how many people pop into the general forums most days. It's a lot harder to have beef with such a small amount of people. Still happens you just have to know where to look. But, at the same time, the forums wouldn't be very interesting if it were clogged with petty arguments general assholery. Game probs wouldn't even be around anymore if it stayed as toxic as it used to be. Noobs wouldn't want to play if the community was shit, and old players probably wouldn't see it worth their time. As a newbie, but also someone's who was around in the beginning, I love that this community has thrived all this time. It's wild to even think about us all still being here after a decade and a half. But here we are. It's not a bad thing that the forums aren't toxic

But in the different vein, be the change you want to see in the forums! Talk shit! Be mean! Do what you want to do in the forums there aren't forums police that will ban you. Worst thing that can happen is someone didnt like what you said and you start some beef. A tale as old as time.

There’s not even good beef. It’s just political arguments. Debates over Donald Trump is not what I would imagine to come from a game called ‘Turf Wars’, but it’s whatever.
