I am jailbroken and want to update my iPod to the latest version but lat time I did I lost my jailbreak including some apps, how do I update without that happening again?

You have to wait until 4.2 has been jailbroken. It shouldn't take to long.

Sync first then restore from the sync. You will be un-JB with 4.2. You may have to sync a 2nd time so you can add te new OS, after the restore. I'm not sure if there is a new JB out yet tho.

Good customisation and good cydia apps you can't get on app store.also a while ago lots of people jbd because safari automatically downloaded any files on the page which people took advantage of and put out virus's.cydia had an app for preventing downloads unless you accept them
