Oh cmon. Its relevance. If my moms friend died, I'd be sorry for my mother and it sucks that her friend died, but really? I could care less. I don't know them. Now If they give me something in a will, well I'd be more happy than sad. No use trying to pretend I'm sad for someone I don't know.

Yes the loss was sad but she was the most happy go lucky person I knew!!! She was about having fun and living her life for the momment! Her illness made her say a number of times to enjoy life while you are young and can.

She would not find the post disrespectful or the use of a small portion to be used for fun.

None of you knew her so don't get on ur high horse about the memory of a person you never knew !!!

He's just thinking out loud. Anyone who inherits money from someone not close to them thinks the same way. I used to work for a charity and they would buy data on recent deceacedents who had put aside a portion of the estate for charity and we would write to the executors asking for a donation.
