Came in from work fifteen minutes ago and someone about 18-19 had broken in. We got into a tussle and I have now locked him in a drying cupboard with a weighted blanked on his head.

How would a gun have helped? This ended well. If the intruder had a gun, Barry could have been killed entering his own home. If Barry had a gun, the “kid” would probably be dead. Guns can protect us from violent criminals. In this case, guns would have created more violence. Nice job, Barry. It’s unlikely that the kid will try that again.

My wife and I were checking in on her grandparents house while they were on a cruise. Saw a window open that shouldn’t have been open so we went inside. After a little struggle we were able to hold a 16 year old kid (probably 6’ 200 lbs) until the cops came and took him away. He was out in 48 hours then shot and killed a gas station attendant in a robbery. If I had a gun when he broke in he may be dead but the attendant may be alive.

Sheesh, I wish people didn’t feel like they had to resort to this type of shit. And the police need to stop letting people off so easily that are actual threats

Yea ur right I thought about that after I posted. The police just have to do what the corrupt system tells them to do. The system needs changes
