This has always been the answer. Nick is a bad business owner who’s bad behavior is rewarded by his paying customers. I’ve posted many times on this. The answer is simple. Never expect Nick to change. Arguing with him is pointless. He believes he’s right and has never once seen or acknowledged the root causes. Also, don’t blame him, you pay him to treat you this way.
