Ive listened to him for a couple years now. I think it's the right choice towards his career.

See Jay so do I. He has phenomenal talent, and hitting US was the best move of his career. But, signing to cash money is not him. He's no hip-hop artist. He did not jam with Nicki Minaj, she raps meaninglessly. He really needs to show his UK talent in US to last. Damn if ne-yo does him lyrics it's no doubt world no 1 charts hit. But won't happen with lil Wayne.

I have every bit of respect for Wayne, he's helped change the industry and is 1 of the best undoubtedly. But Jay Sean is no cash money player. His music is too urban.

He's certainly on the charts limelight but I get ya if it's not ur scene. Signed to lil waynes record label, cash money. He's the first UK artist and first Asian artist to break in to the US music industry. Formally signed to Rishi Rich, the biggest Asian music producer in the world, the dude that made him.

'Asian' in the uk is generally meant as Indian subcontinental, not oriental asian.
