I didn’t personally like the guy but when someone dies you should show respect, the crimes the church committed in the past are in the past as far as I’m concerned. If pope Francis died tomorrow I would show him the same respect, just because ye don’t like the church doesn’t mean you can’t respect a dead man

I said I didn’t like him but I have a sense of decency, what he did was wrong, yes-very much so, but he is dead now, he’s not going to anything to anyone, so yes, I respect the dead. If your relations, my relations or my worst enemies relations died in the morning, I would include them in my prayers, we have different views but mine are not going to be changed by you despising a dead man. In short, he was a bad guy but even bad guys deserve respect in death. Those are my thoughts, not gonna argue anymore with strangers online.

Alright yea i understand the issue. They all should have been ex communicated. Because they were Roman Catholics they do not serve all of Scripture and seem to hold the self-image of Roman doctrine rather than Sola Scripture.I would have advocated the death penalty for the rapist, and the adoption of the twins. Instead the rapist was protected by the state and the death penalty was given to these two babies.
