It increases your mob. Say if you have 10,000 natural mob, you could have 17,500 mob with hench giving you the ability to fight and capture turf from larger players.

Yes, a maximum of 75% of your total natural mob you can gain in hench. So if you had 10k natural mob you could buy/loot a maximum of another 7.5k henchmen to bring your total mob upto 17,500.
