User experiences

Just wondering what other users TW experiences are in comparison to my TW experience.

First discussion point:

- [ ] Capping and defending a turf.
On capping:
Capping can be a little glitchy, the capping button/pop up box jumps around the screen - very annoying, if box/button move and you tap the same part of the screen where the button was, it then closes the pop up and dumps you back on the turf screen - appreciate there are variables which can change the box size but it also does this when there are no changes to the variables.

Capping, some general stutters (could be server or network issues), which result in excessive delays between attacks (sometimes 1-2 secs).

Defending turf:
General sluggishness getting into turf to heal e.g. if I receive a notification of a turf attack while out of the app - press the notification, enter the app to my news screen, get there to find it capped and torn down 🤬🤬🤬

Receive the vibration/notification while in the app (hopping, chat or be on a different tab/screen) - enter notification screen, press turf, enter turf (see heal button 👇🏻), heal, “this turf is capped” 🤬🤬🤬

Receive notification while watching news feed - news feed updates (with variable delays, sometimes doesn’t update), enter turf and if I’m lucky I get to catch the heal button and maybe get the chance to heal someone off (only works for the first attempt, as now there’s no vibration on 2nd cap attempt(who’s stupid idea was it to implement that change🤬) .

Then there are the times when you actually start to heal, you then have to deal with, the button/pop up box jumps and stutters or occasionally the attacker who has a super speed network who out attacks any defence speed you can muster (shouldn’t be possible with the 2x or 3x attack per sec limit?).

Now, I appreciate the above are all subject to variables (wifi, mobile data, server, time of day etc) but all of the things mentioned above never used to be an issue when I was running my iPhone 3 on a 3G /10mb network so 🤷‍♀️

What’s your experience …….

It’s fun. Because even if you lose all your turf, you can still shit talk them. And as much as they like to think you aren’t doing anything, deep down, your making them pissed as shit because they have no effective way of silencing you.

I have the same issues with the notifications and defending turf, but I haven't had the issue where the pop ups jump around the screen. That would make me want to throw my phone through the wall.

Capping is fun i like when they attempt to heal off, i feel like playing defense and healing your turf dynamics has changed. Actually i don’t think it was ever balanced for the defender vs attacker but I’ll hold my peace - there are ways to abuse offense more than there are ways to abuse the defense. I’m grateful

You really don’t cap much other then when capping TC or RIH to fill islands. You’re not a fighter, can’t see how this impacts your game much tbh.

You seem to be able to tear down fast enough before those capping you go live. So you’re good. Keep running 🤡

how insulting. I'm going to place some turf to get a feeling of superiority

I can’t tell if you just didn’t place any turf or if it was all capped already.

90%???? Think you need to work on your math….
15 members, 5 with no turf - rough guesstimate is about 33%

Then if we take in to account, of the 15, 7 are inactive, leaving 8??? Of those 8 - 1 is temporarily
Inactive (rl commitments) - leaves 7 active all with turf, so 0% with zero turf 😎🏝😎

Now looks like I have semi perma turf on 5 of the 6 available, in-game continents, all while having 1 or more of the mighty crapo members following me every hop of the way. All Is GOOD from my point of view considering a while back I did have zero turf …..🚶🏼‍♀️🏝😎👊
