Fear is what makes you pay your bills on time, fear is what makes you lock your doors at night, fear is what keeps you alive. Its about being prepared and ready for anything. And in that i have safety knowing my family is ready when and where the criminals decide to act.
I live in the hood. You probably dont, but its a necessary aspect of nature to be prepared to protect your home and family

Better policing and training for civilians will help.
