What does Hop mean?

I see loads of turfs called Hop what does this mean?

When the world needed Nexx the most he vanished -

to “hop” is just planting a turf in any direction for example

I am “hopping” to IOW to evict LaTorguta from the UK. It means I am heading in the direction of wherever that is. Many players title their hopping turfs with their code such as “★ADD E1080★“
or just with “H” or “Hop” just for the player themselves to remember that they’re traveling in a direction for a reason
