Congrats to Boris Johnson for defeating the coronavirus in the UK. He has announced that all restrictions will be lifted from next week. Cannot wait to see people coming into work and contaminating the rest of us because the don’t want to miss a days wage.

It’s a bit early but nobody is telling you to stop wearing a mask, stop social distancing, or stop testing.
Sure, the government is passing the buck so that we become responsible, rather than them, if the numbers go up again, but that’s what they do.
With some hope and a bit of luck, the numbers will continue to fall and no new variants will come along and fuck everything up again.

We haven’t had a lockdown in a very long time. I think the last one ended about a year ago.

you can stay home if u so please, i don’t think anybody’s forcing u to leave ur house . let people do what THEY want, whether it’s work or crack. if what YOU want is to stay home, and not work that’s fine too, seems like a personal decision to me, do u need someone telling you when u can and cant work? why complain ab other people being allowed to do what they want?

Florida and NY are my favorite to compare due to similar populations and population densities. the fact that they are in essentially the exact same position numbers wise says it all. the lockdowns/mask mandates/etc obviously didn’t benefit much in NY. i’m from ny, currently in florida, 4th time here in the last 18 months or so. i have not nearly been everywhere in florida nor can i speak first hand for everyone, but miami seemed to have the most mask wearers, and i did learn that miami-dade is the strictest of counties in all of florida, i do not know that for fact tho, i believe a waiter told me. fort lauderdale has had noticeably less people wearing masks, i don’t know if that has anything to do with it. but imma go w simcoe and say who gives a fuck what other ppl are doing bc if ur scared u have every right to stay home with ya dick in your hand, and you’ve had that right since far before any covid measures were put in place.

I agreed with the other lockdowns but not the last one . We should have fully open in early January. Omicron wasn’t that bad I got it only had a running nose and a headache for 3 days -
