Aug, there is literally a difference in the brains and chemical/hormone signaling of people with dysmorphia. Hence why it is best to help them live an authentic life with the gender they identify as. It’s literally a kindness to allow them to identify differently rather than forcing them to live a life that isn’t theirs.

I don’t believe in the age old concept of hell- comply or suffer for eternity dogma. I do believe in tortured souls after passing into an afterlife. Not based upon the good deeds vs the bad deeds but upon inability to be at peace with one’s own internal spirit.

I will have to state my original comment on this and it still stands, we do not give in the delusions of an individual whom has a chemical imbalance nor do we glorify them as “brave” for being delusional. That is all harmful to them mentally. Besides much of the crossdressing fads out there like the “try guys” is just a trend. It all is a reflection of a decaying and the death throws of a nation.

truth is christians should hold people accountable an help them stay on the path. this means calling them out on their bs. honestly I think the church in general has been too soft as of late. prob the last few decades. they might be scared of losing public favor or something. i'm not sure. but there is a difference between everyone being welcome and accepting or overlooking obvious sins and saying everything is going to be ok.

How about casting all religion aside and believe that people should hold all people accountable to being decent human beings towards eachother- providing service to others above own personal desires and not exalting self as being above others. I think some Jewish guy from Bethlehem was trying to do that at one point.
