Ukraine is “still ready” to continue negotiations with Russia - which have stalled since the discovery of atrocities in Bucha and other areas near Kyiv - says Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Boris Johnson has met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv today, in an unannounced visit.
Ukraine's embassy in the UK posted a picture of the two leaders meeting earlier today, with a caption which read: "Surprise".
And the country's Interior Minister, Volodomir Omelyan, confirmed the pair had met in Kyiv in a subsequent tweet.
And a presidential Ukrainian aide, Andriy Sybiha, posted the picture on Facebook , adding: "Boris Johnson's visit in Kyiv began just now with a tete-a-tete meeting with President Zelensky." -

Ukraine preparing for big battle in the east- Dnipro airport destroyed
Ukraine is preparing for "big battles" against Moscow's forces in the east of the country, according to officials in Kyiv.
It comes as thousands of civilians flee the region in fear of an imminent Russian offensive.
A local official in the central city of Dnipro said the airport there had been completely destroyed in fresh Russian shelling this morning."There has been another attack on Dnipro airport. There is nothing left of it.
"The airport itself and the infrastructure around it has been destroyed. Rockets keep flying and flying," the head of the city's military administration, Valentin Reznichenko, said on Telegram. -
Zelensky braces for battle, Johnson visits with aid
Ukraine is ready for a tough battle with Russian forces amassing in the east of the country, President Volodymyr Zelensky said today, and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson paid him a visit to offer fresh financial and military aid.
Mr Johnson was the latest foreign leader to visit Kyiv after Russian forces pulled back from areas to the north of the capital just over a week ago. His visit was not previously announced.
Mr Johnson tweeted that he met Mr Zelensky today to set out a package of financial and military aid to show "our commitment to his country's struggle against Russia's barbaric campaign".He pledged to send 120 armoured vehicles to Ukraine and, in a significant stepping-up of UK military support, he said Britain would also be sending new anti-ship missile systems.

Russians stole lethal substances from Chernobyl
Russian forces who occupied the Chernobyl nuclear plant stole radioactive substances from research laboratories that could potentially kill them, Ukraine's State Agency for Managing the Exclusion Zone has said.
Moscow's forces seized the defunct power plant on the first day of their invasion of Ukraine on 24 February.
They occupied the highly radioactive zone for over a month, before retreating on 31 March.
The agency said on Facebook that Russian soldiers pillaged two laboratories in the area.
It said the Russians entered a storage area of the Ecocentre research base and stole 133 highly radioactive substances. -
Before the war started, Zelenskyy refused an offer for peace. Russia required 3 things;
1) Water in Crimea: no water was destroying the economy there.
2) Minsk 2 imposed: peace for the people of Donbas, within Ukraine, but greater autonomy.
3) Ukraine to remain neutral: no NATO. -
Zelenskyy actually increased the provocation against Russia in January 2022 by;
1) Intensifying the bombardment of Donbas
2) Threatening to retake Crimea
3) A group of Republican congressmen intended to introduce a bill declaring Ukraine a NATO-plus country.The die was cast.

1) Why did Zelenskyy increase provocations when Biden said "Putin has to do something"?
2) What will happen now?Zelenskyy pushed because he's a US puppet, a tool in the Great Game that's been played for 100's of years.
