I’ve been jabbed twice, not due for the third yet and I have Covid right now. It doesn’t stop you from getting it just lessens the symptomsI personally know 3 sets of people that were vaccinated and had boosters and still got covid. In my honest opinion this misses the mark and should not be called effective.

Everyone has an opinion but not everyone here is a scientist or doctor. Nevertheless, no one said you can’t contract the virus again while vaxed it’s only supposed to assist with having severe symptoms especially those with higher risk such as ongoing medical conditions. What I’ve noticed is most vaccinated are contracting the virus and are being asymptotic; with little to no symptoms. With that said i don’t agree with forcing people to get the vaccine and shaming people who do decide to get it. Ultimately, it should be there (your) choice imo. They are hoping that if you get vaccinated it’ll keep the icu rooms underwhelmed rather then it’s current state.I personally know 3 sets of people that were vaccinated and had boosters and still got covid. Read recently that cannabis can help protect against covid. If that’s actually the case that explains why I haven’t gotten it 😁. Excuse me while I go boost myself with a fat doobie

Plenty of people had less severe symptoms without the vaccine, my wife and daughter included. They practically just sneezed and got over it. If not being tested because of me they wouldnt have even known they had it. Im just not convinced. To be fair, im not a big vaccine person anyway, hadnt had the reg flu vacc in over 20yrs and also havent had the flu 🤷🏻♂️. I live in the metroplex, 4 kids that went to different schools. My risk should be high. 1 kid is out of the house now though.

Hell, in august we all flew to vegas. That’s right, whole family in the dfw and vegas airports then we drove to los angeles and spent a few days there before going back to vegas , flew back to dfw then spent another week all around louisiana in hotels here and there. That was 4 adults, one 65+, couple 40+ , 18yr old , 12 yr old and a 3 yr old. We were fine, no one got sick in any way.

My whole office just got Covid. Me for the second time. Half vaxed half not. We all have the same symptoms. The vaxxed just keep talking, thanking god they were vaccinated because their symptoms aren’t severe. We all literally have the same shit. People make me laugh.

I argued against mail in voting ballots. There was fraud found but not enough to sway the election. It was a rigged game for sure. The courts didnt want to even look at the evidence. Damnit trav, now im sick and im blaming you. Soon as i start talking shit about it i get smacked down. 😒

I just wanna know why, after 2 years why are we still using mrna? Why arnt we just pumping the dead virus into people like normal ass vaccines and calling it a day. I mean im glad they got to use mrna. But its time to start making our bodies produce legit anti-bodies. Not this 40-80% effective shit. Like people the get covid are ALMOST immune for about 3 months i believe. Like scoop up that dead covid off the floor, wash it off and gimme it.i aint got time to be sick.

Valid opinion, but everyone I know who has taken the 3 jabs do NOT want to go anywhere near needles again lol. I’m just saying even if it’s a different more effective vaccine, a lot of people would refuse it, especially people like me who would just rather have natural immunity anyways.I just wanna know why, after 2 years why are we still using mrna? We don't seem to make antibodies very well against the spike antigen. SARS viruses are not new but are somewhat new in the scope of prevalence in todays society. Covid 19 is just one of the many SARS viruses- more will come. Therapeutics absolutely are needed instead of trying to eradicate or proposing vaccination for each one that emerges as a potential killer for those who are at risk.

Viruses are very complicated in that they are not living beings. They are genetic material (DNA or RNA) carried in some form of structural housing. An "antibiotic" against the genetic material will kill us. An antibiotic against a non-functioning structure probably hurts us. Immunity against the structure is the safest option in the short term. There will not likely ever be eradication because of the rapidity that this virus mutates.SARS viruses are not new but are somewhat new in the scope of prevalence in todays society. Understood and thank you. Due to the different SARS outbreaks in the past 15-30 years a lot of research has gone into them. Additionally a lot of research into medications and therapies for respiratory distress. Add to that the 40 plus years of studies for emphysema, COPD, Asthma and Mesothelioma- I would imagine that this area is due for some significant breakthroughs for therapeutics. It does seem the energy and funding is disproportionately focused on vaccines. Just as HIV was handled in the 80’s.
