This all came to a crescendo with the #nofixnofill bullshit. This is where nick changed the formula for cap range and cost of building turf. As a result, bigger players felt slighted because they felt it changed the game dynamics and threw a pissy fit, thinking they could force him to revert it back to the way it was. He didn’t, and that basically was the last of the interactions with the community. (And last of the game changing ‘upgrades’)
Since you’re a “new generation” player that doesn’t know about all of the history, you don’t get it.

I agree. There is as much game left as you want there to be.
My point is that there is a reason why nick doesn’t interact like he once did. Take it or leave it. But there it is.

I’ll try one last time with you…
1) in the earliest days, changes to the game mechanics were necessary and critical to keep the game as fair as possible for a war game.
Changes like cap limits. In the beginning, in one day, you could cap every turf a player had. Although fun, it wasn’t fair.

Or making police maps NOT reusable. BlackWallStreet figured this one out and used a small number of maps to hop all the way across country.
And so on. In those days, it was a developing environment and when imbalances happened, a new formula or method was developed (and generally appreciated) by the players. We all adapted and got good at the new game mechanics.
Then, favoritism claims started as a joke, but grew, like the “CMS Discount” on don points, or Nick owning BAIC/favoring them, etc.
After awhile it grew old.
Then, after many years of the same mechanics that we all got used to, new changes were introduced, and people bitched. Yes, not you. The players of the time.
But here’s the point my simple friend and the moral of my stories: you are bitching and moaning, just like the ‘vets’ did, and you’re wasting your breath.
If you want to continue to look like an idiot, so be it. But it’s been done and if bitching led to the game where it is now, what will YOUR bitching do to it?

I’m just a player that prefers Nick to show he’s listening. Something happened In the past shouldn’t be an excuse to encourage him to talk to us now. I just simply want him to have a conversation about the game. Shouldn’t be too much to ask for. I don’t care what asshats complained back then. Today Is now. And would like Nick to talk the now people. That’s how much I care, I like this game. Like having Vs against Butcha 🤘🏻 That’s why I want Nick to at least have a conversation.
