No, I see all my turf being capped, this idea benfits higher players, not the middle & little guy/gal. Maybe if the 10% rule was still in effect...

Everyone has a week to plan and think differently about your current turfs and there is time to mob up.
You will then have 30 days to gear back up or rebuild which is a lot of time in this game. -

That is exactly what makes war good for the economy. Many jobs are created. From all the soldiers that have to leave their jobs to fight. Rebuilding cities. Manufacturing-replenishing defensive stockpiles. Soldiers die, so more soldiers are needed, opening up more jobs in the civilian sector.
Besides, it's only for one day. what are you worried about? You'll get to attack just as much as anyone else.
