I'm taking a trip to Boston for the first time very soon and I'm trying to get some input from people that live near or have been there. Looking for restaurant suggestions, attractions, bars, and where to sit at Fenway (the Red Sox will be in town when I'm there and I can't pass up the opportunity to see a game there). Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks folks.

Top of the Pru. Best views in town. Legal Seafood in the square. If you want a unique place to go , rent a car and head to Sturbridge village.

Bull finch pub on the square is also the “bar” used for the exterior shots for Cheers.

Fire and ice and definitely Sturbridge village

Definitely Fire N Ice! I also recommend Saus too. Any seat at Fenway is special (especially if you're view is blocked by a steel girder). If you're looking for a brewery, you gotta get to Trillium, one of the best in the region.Fire and ice and definitely Sturbridge village

Do your research on old Sturbridge village. It’s mildly interesting for a brief time but isn’t really near Boston and tends to get old quick. I’m Boston proper there is a bevy of world class museums, an aquarium, Faneuil hall, Quincy Market on weekends, and the North end has some of the best Italian restaurants in the area with great ambiance.

I would have to sit on the Green Monster if going to Fenway

Fenway is a nice bucket list accomplishment, to go to once.
