Well, if you’re ok with seeing Ryan Renolds act exactly the same as he does in every other fucking movie, then you should enjoy this one.

Had it’s funny moments, but very cheesy. Nothing too special to be completely honest. Just Ryan Renolds being a smart ass as usual with predictable action/humor here and there.

I did laugh a few times, but the dude who sold me my pretzel at the concession was a lot funnier lol.

Also, everyone is saying how original the plot is, but am I the only person who finds someone “living in a video game” completely cliche and boring?

Watched a few films

Midsommar. 7.5/10. I would recommend watching at least once.

The Lighthouse. 7/10. A recommended watch for those who don't mind a slow movie.

Beautiful Boy. 5/10. Carrell and Chalamet carried the terribly written, tonally confused dumpsterfire of a script to average rating. Watch it if you want to see their acting, skip otherwise.

The Suicide Squad. 6.5/10. One of the better DC films but a subpar superhero film. Way better than the original.

The Outlaw Josey Wales. 6/10. Neat action-adventure film. The not-so-latent racism hasn't aged well and drags down my rating. A film "of a different time"..

Terminal. 5.5/10. An overhyped cliche-ridden romcom only distinguishable from the rest in the sense that it takes place in an airport. Incels everywhere rejoiced as a woman agreed to marry a creepy stalker she had never seen let alone met. Tom hanks is the film's one saving grace.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0

2/10.

Another movie installment to the 90's anime cult classic. They double down on last film's flaws. More screen time for characters who weren't in the original series. Plot twists that were neither established ealier in the movie nor the previous films/show. Character romances that don't sprout up until the last hour of the entire film quadrilogy and, even worse, the last 5 minutes.

A terrible spin on such a pivotal piece of Japanese animation. Amazon should be ashamed to have published it. Robin Williams is sulking.

Jason Statham, Ryan Renolds, Bruce Willis, Liam Neeson, the guy who plays Shane from The Walking Dead - all very annoyingly similar. Even though some of them have really good projects! There’s plenty of women who do the same thing too.
