I Can't See My "News"

Hello,

I am trying to see what my news is. However, I just see the message "Waiting on init - hit Refresh if this takes too long...". After waiting, no news came up. Then, after waiting, I hit Refresh and still no news came up. I knew that I had news to see based on the red balloon with a number in it that was over the "News" button on the top ribbon.

Is there any way to get this to work in order to see my "News"?

You may have a slow internet connection I know mine acts up in low signal areas

That doesn't appear to be the problem because I am able to access the Internet using other apps or a search engine. This is true in different locations too, whether using WiFi or data.
