Im pleased to announce a new version of Turf Wars is hitting the App Store! This version includes a faster map (especially in crowded areas), and should reduce GPS errors and map crashes.

iOS3 users: our test devices experienced crashes when registering for Push Notifications (I.e. On new installs) - so to ensure compatibility we've had to turn them off by default. To re-enable, go to the Settings app and select the iOS3 compatibility option.

4.1+ users will be able to share their scores on Game Center with this release! Unfortunately Game Center is not supported on iOS 4.0 and below.:(

I can definitely tell the improvement on the map. Very nice. Also, the only time I'll be in the top 10 on the leaderboards in this game. :)

FYI if you have the "loot" app installed there will be no update in iTunes. Just install the "gps war" icon app for the new version.

If you check your "update" tab it should show there. Mine did anyway, that's how I found it.

Map shows great improvement!!! Thank you Nick!!😽😽 Been driving me nuttier than normal on my 🐰hopping.

It's seems the map has almost more translucent turfs. But not so clear that you can't recognize that they're turfs. Interesting

How do you sign up for game center? It tells me to register but how?

You have to register via the Game Center app, then you'll be automatically logged in when you start up Turf Wars.
