85 dead after a bombing in the Middle East at a girls’ school.
I go on google and search “news” as well as Reddit and you wanna know what the first fucking thing I see is? An article named “We Cannot Afford to Forget the Death and Damage Trump Has Caused.”
Atrocious.
The first entire PAGE of google didn’t even have the bombing on it. I had to search “bombing news” to get the article I was looking for.
I’ve had family members die in the Middle East. Our presence gave the people there a sense of security so women wouldn’t be afraid to go to school, or people in general wouldn’t be afraid to listen to music. (Music was banned in select areas)
And for what? Biden pulls out and this happens literally right after. No one cares. They just care about trashing the republicans.
And no, it’s not entirely Biden’s fault. Trump wanted to do the same thing when he was in office and bring our troops home. A fucking mistake it is. If we ever return, we better colonize and invade that shit for ourselves.

You have my complete respect. I’m so sorry if you ever feel like your loved ones are neglected, or forgotten. They’re not. Not by me. I’m not a religious man, but I’ll pray for every one of our brave brothers and sisters.

The Middle East war will never end. Girl schools are more of a target than the US. Always has been, always will.
Our troops never stopped those bombings, we supplied first responders.
It’s gonna happen wether we are there or not, until the end of time.
No I’m not saying it’s ok, just saying all we’ve ever done is medically respond.
If our soldiers are at those schools, they aren’t allowed to respond unless they are directly attacked.

Why do we think we are morally superior? Why do we feel justified in pushing our influence and values upon other cultures in the lands of that culture. The violence and war in the Middle East. The violence and wars in Detroit, Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, Los Angeles, New York. Massacres at US schools, shopping centers and nightclubs. Who has a more safe and righteous society? Whose values are 100% indisputable?

It’s not that we are superior. We have superior firepower. But it don’t matter because if our soldiers are standing there they can’t shoot back unless they are shot at.
Our people has to stand down and watch the women get shot unless we are shot at.
It’s fucking stupid. If armed men, jump unarmed women we should step up.
If you question someone standing up for a woman then you need your ass beat

We did not deploy to the Middle East for the purpose of standing up for women’s rights. We are not in the Middle East to further women’s rights. It is a byproduct but not the reason.

US spent the latter half of the 20th century trying to train militias to protect their people from their government. Now those militias fight us and we try to train their govt to fight them? Makes no sense at all

It’s a bad idea to stay because our troops become targets. It’s a bad idea to leave because then groups like ISIS and Taliban rise in power.

To further elaborate on my previous comment, I was not referring to all middle easterns. I was obviously referring to the trouble makers in those struggling countries. You know, the ones that bomb schools and stuff.

So you cant pull out and turn a blind eye because they rise in power and become a global problem, we cant just sit there and watch until we are engaged either, so we take over, annex their countries make them ours expand our borders a bit and get new US territories. Their land and resources become ours.

Some of those militant groups still believe theyre fighting the ussr, especially in afghanistan. So explain to me why theres ANY reason at all any of that cluster fuck is the US's problem.

Sudan, Somalia, Congo, Ethiopia etc. almost 1/2 of the most violent countries on earth are in Africa, but then again they don’t have as much oil, aren’t as close to Israel and don’t serve as a European buffer zone from the Soviets and Chinese
