Do points here make it farther to be able to capture..and if so how much distance is each point worth?

I believe it boosts your capture range and decreases the range from which you can be captured, but someone might need to correct me on that.
Nevertheless, At 250 capture points, it’s 50%. So 0.2% per capture point.

Make ennemy to builf closer to your turfs to set in range. Cap skills at 250 reduce your capture radius by around 50%
