DBR -Desperate Tactics Part 1
Forums › General Discussion › DBR -Desperate Tactics Part 1-
I rarely post on the forum but this subject I find needs airing.
Due to significant DBR (Death By ReachArounds) loses BAS and TheNigga decided to tear down and hide under my 10%. Their poor tactics are evident as they have been hit hard in London for the last 48hrs. Their only option is to reduce their influence. BAS with a henched up 15k mob down to 1800 and The Nigga with a henched up 15k mob down to 900.
The DBR propaganda machine in now in full swing. Posting on several players comments pages unnecessary comments about TWFC and inferring they are policing the game. But it is self evident now that they are reading the Audley Harrison Encyclopaedia of Tactical Fighting - Chapter One - Defend and Hide.

Part 2
I have the utmost respect for the players I scrap against, without Rhino, Monkey Plague, Nigga, BAS and others this game would be pointless. But larger players be able to drop influence to zero is a part of the game which is poor.
A simple solution to protect the small players with regard to influence and to maintain the integrity of the game is to make your minimum influence your mob size. This is the only way to protect the smaller players that DBR feels it ok to cap to gain position in Camden. And would ensure future DBR loses!

Spot on it's been said a thousand times bigger players with money in the bank exploiting a loop hole nick needs to deals with this but so far he has kept schtum! So DBR have plenty to say about other players tactics and are usually very vocal about it, some home truths clears their moral high ground nicely!

This tactic is used so they can't be capped as opposed to allowing them to be able to cap smaller players (as you well know).Part 2

The fact you used the exact same approach previously kinda blows your argument out of the water. Just saying.....

People only need to look at the brows profile to see loads of 1 inf turf so he is doing what he preaches against. Also to penalise for mob by setting the inf is penalising hard work put in. You do the codes and your reward is being easier to cap, not a good idea. Both sides have done the low inf thing and don't even get me started on you guys using mules to set up vendettas eg miss sugar tits.

More DBR propaganda.....
Several weeks ago The Rhino returned from a break, hopped into Aylesbury and dropped inf. A clever tactic. I joined this method, to survive, losing about 4B in cash over three weeks. Bas came in and dropped low and capped the shite out of me! This tactic was a bit of Rhino magic. The only reason I'm low now was to prevent Bas employing the same tactic in Camden. It worked until TheNigga joined him! I have a feeling this afternoon is gonna hurt lol!
Spin, Spin, Spin! You should work for the Government!

Mob should not dictate minimal influence. I agree with the fact that hard work should not push you further out of the game

As I've said before there's just no fair solution to the 10% influence rule. I've yet to gear anything that would work. My favorite though is that the rule work both ways. You must also be at least 10% of a players influence to cap. That would at least help but not fully solve the problem.

Move in close and lower your
Inf if you have to. I agree it's an issue, but it can be worked around. Just a huge pain in the ass... -

That couldn't work as a solution as to increase ur infl by 10 turf 840 would be easy to do then tear down as oppsed to 100 the other way roundAs I've said before there's just no fair solution to the 10% influence rule. I think the only real way is not to have such a big range of turf upgrades . Ie all turf start with a minimum of say 40 infl and u have the upgrades on top so if you want to hide below the 10 pct then u actually have to give up turf not just reduce their infl
-
Personally I think it's a cowardly tactic and I'm quite sad that a long time great such as the nigga has followed this path . I expected it from bas . Although still respect due as it takes a heck of a lot of effort to do it . It would take about 20 hours I reckon to strip down 1500 turf to 1 infl . Get a life

I know this isn't really the place, but what if you can only cap/be capped by players who are within 10 levels either way of you. And then have that range slide as you get closer to 100 so that you still have a 20 level window.

No because people would abuse this too by doing no missions staying low level and having a huge mob and loads of turf and enjoying being untouchableI know this isn't really the place, but what if you can only cap/be capped by players who are within 10 levels either way of you. So if ur in a war do u whine about how that war was won or cry because someone shot u below the belt.. no. U crack on play the game and quit whinging..strategy is key and if it includes lower inf.. So ?? Man up.. Shut up (:
-
It's funny that I have never seen this moaned about until you are getting battered by hit. It's in the rules live with it. Brow you are not moaning about inf whenit works the other way round,ie my inf is high compared to yours hence the reason I can not get near you to cap you as the capture range on your turf is smaller than mine, but you do not hear me bleating about it just get on with it.

There are plenty on EASY solutions in the 10% post in the technical forum.. LIARS

I had best put my thoughts in here as I'm mentioned quite alot.
Firstly, I don't see what propaganda has to do with this thread? Perhaps you could enlighten me I might have missed it being at work. As to the 10% rule I realy don't see a problem when it is employed this way. I could understand if we were using it to cap tiny players but your all big enough an ugly enough to take care of yourselves. Using the 10% rule this way is not an exploit, any more than using the distance rule when you have a lower inf is. Ive lost alot of turfs to this rule but never moan about it because it's a tactic, of course it's annoying for you, why would anyone waste that time lowering inf it it wasn't? But just because something wrecks your plans doesn't mean they should change the rules. This tactic has massive draw backs, it costs a shit load, it takes ALOT of time and is not foulproof. (cont) -
Lol foolproof, stupid!
Anyway, as I was saying tactics can be used to prevent this tactic at the highest level, I should know. Also twfc have used the maleria tactic on numerous occasions. And I've not moaned. The problem is, your loosing so whining is enevitable. But there's no unfair play here, just better tactics, sorry 👊
