This is actually not true. You can still be sued if you injure somebody saving their life. This is why some states have laws saying if you are certified in cpr you must assist. Other states you are allowed to say duck off and not assist as to protect yourselfBigAl! wrote:
Well thank you. But I still say this unintentional “murder” is the result of a police officer doing his best to protect the people he serves for little or no gratitude, and certainly not enough money. He clearly wasn’t trying to harm anyone while they waited for medical assistance to arrive to help the man. I’ll throw one further and suggest if he wasn’t distracted by the screaming idiots on the curb who were impeding their duties, he may have noticed the problem sooner. May they murdered him, too. “Unintentionally”.Good samaritan laws would protect you...The world likes having you around.

To expand you don’t even have to injure them. They may have had a dnr you didn’t know of or underlying issues that may be out of the scope of your training. Liability is everywhere and this is America so people will sue.

People think just because you can’t lose a lawsuit there’s no consequences. Trust me, if you have to pay a lawyer $2-$5k to defend you against a ridiculous lawsuit your life will likely be altered. One of my clients is a dentist who stopped at the scene of a car accident to make sure everyone was ok. He was sued by both parties for various things and had to close his practice for about 18 days total to attend depositions and trial. Sure, he won. He also lost about $40k in the process. Getting a judgment of attorney fees is not easy and even if we did he can’t recoup the lost fees for shutting down.◾️〓T/\T〓◾️ wrote:

If you don’t know how to google I don’t think any of my sources will help you but for the record it’s what I was taught in some of the schooling I’ve had

He acted the same way in the debate of his first election. Trump has been the same since before he ran. No surprises there really.I have never wanted “trumps head” for anything and have no idea what you guys are talking about 😂
The only thing I’ve ever supported that could be considered “left leaning” is the verdict Chauvin got.
I voted for trump in 2016 but could not bring myself to vote for him in 2020 because of how absolutely retarded he acted in the debates. But I couldn’t bring myself to vote for Biden either.
It’s rather disappointing that when you guys see someone support a decision they think is *morally just* you immediately assume that they’re a democrat or “libtard”. I expected better.

In the Biden debate literally all he did was interrupt and threaten a massive economic collapse with Biden. You don’t win by instilling fear into voters, you do it by proving your policies are better. Trump completely and utterly failed to do that and it wasn’t the news who conveyed that to me. It was his own mouth.

Unfortunately he really believed Biden would fall apart when he interrupted like that. Biden didn’t and it was over. @deicide
True. But I think he had more of a reason too? I’m not trying to justify it, but there were a lot of false allegations that were proven to be false she was bringing up - and I feel like he has the right to tell her she’s incorrect.
But idk man, to me, when it came to Biden, who was supposed to be a super easy opponent compared to her, he just didn’t hold up. Fuck them both tbh. I miss the 2016 Trump.

Lol i will agree with you i think trump should have been better prepared and behaved. Biden should have been an easy win. But im over trump. Tbh i was pissed his first run. Out of all the intelligent, well educated people even younger kids studying political science, we had no one, NO ONE better than trump and hilary? Damn. Funny how everyone has opinions on how he or she is doing things wrong and how the country should be ran but we are stuck with those two. Or three with biden. Makes me sad. And seems like a waste of education if no one is willing to step up.

It’s pretty sad that people would rather side with the establishment, multi billionaire corporations and the war machine than Trump. Pretty dam pathetic. Literally no one likes Biden. The dude has on foot on the grave.

I worked in law enforcement and had the same use of force training. There's a use of force continuum and chauvin didn't follow it. Floyd was passively defensive at most in the video before he died, which would warrant intermediate soft control tactics. Chauvin was either poorly trained or ignored his training and now he's paying the price. As for the trial, there ain't an unbiased juror anywhere in this country. People are either passionately for or against him.

He was obligated to use more force than he was giving. I still haven’t gotten an answer but I don’t think I’m getting one because this issue is extremely polarized.

Besides that we have record in the court that more force would have been justified, I want you to give me an example of how to detain a meth head kicking you and yelling resisting arrest.
All the while angry stand by witnesses make threats and yell. Please. I’m all ears.
Also the knee was not entirely on the neck as photos show that Derek was shifting his weight from his back shoulder and placing it forward to recovery position.

For all those wanting the conviction in this case who are officers, it is a possibility that your next encounter will determine your fate because these same individuals who “salute” you will be singing songs while you walk that green line.
