When I left the game a few years back I was getting into photography and really developed a passion for birding. I’ve traveled through North America just to find those rare birds.
I found a couple of other players sharing the same passion but I wonder if anyone else is in the hobby?
It’s always a pleasure to show my friends the hot birding spots in my part of the world and I wonder if anyone here would want to be my birding pal? -
Any great tit pictures? Usually great tits can be seen in Europe, Asia, and Northern Africa, but not in the Americas or Australia.
-
Yes, I’ve seen lots of tits and boobies in my observations. I have lots of photos... maybe I can put them on D’s channel?

Looks like you are a Twitcher.
Blue tits, Great tits and Bearded tits. Don't forget Coal tits either. -
BigAl is that one weird uncle that’s older and thinks anything boob related is funny 😂

I saw the movie “The Big Year” and never knew this was a thing. BTW we have lots of boobies here in Hawaii.

I watched it before I was into birding and actually told myself, that would be a great retirement hobby. Not long after I had a stare down with an owl, and I was hooked! -
Im not into photography but i like watching bird around. I got a large community of pileated Woodpecker (GrandPic) i weak up every morning with that digging soung. Those bird stay there all year long. This weekend i see a couple of Blue Jay’s flying around

It’s fun! Some of the birds can be really challenging. Flycatchers can be really tough. Is that Pacific Slope or Cordilleran? They probably don’t even know.

Every summer I travel to the southern provinces of my country, there is a trail in one of the mountains that will lead you to a Condor sighting spot. Their wings extend up to 3,5 metres from point to point(11 feet). Cool birds, ugly af but cool. Lol

Cool, we did a trip to the Grand Canyon last spring and the California Condor was on the top of our list, but we dipped... no show. 😞Every summer I travel to the southern provinces of my country, there is a trail in one of the mountains that will lead you to a Condor sighting spot. I thought condors went extinct in the 80’s and were only available to see at Zoo’s now.

Prophet once told me it’s his goal to screw every US state bird. Good luck with New Mexico.

If it’s in a zoo it’s not extinct. That’s endangered, there’s a differenceI thought condors went extinct in the 80’s and were only available to see at Zoo’s now.

Nope, Andean condors are still around. They are an endangered species though. Don't know the case of the Californian condor.I thought condors went extinct in the 80’s and were only available to see at Zoo’s now.

They were very endangered and only found in captivity for a long time and since have been slowly reintroduced in the wild and successfully breading now. It’s a great recovery story.𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐜𝐨𝐞♞ wrote:
