The problem with getting new players is that they see all these OP accounts and realize without spending atkeast $1k they will never be competitive. Trying to retain new players is very very hard. I see what you are saying and I do wish this game would blow up again.
But, the owner of the game does not pay for advertisements.
Look at games such as RAID, COC, Candy crush, lords mobile, and similar games. That is all you see is advertising for that and after all the years those games have been out, they are still growing fast. The problem is not this game being old or outdated like people say. The problem is lack of advertisement, and the devs know it. Why should I care about building the community when the devs do not either? -
This game also does nothing to appease zoomer mindsets. No instant gratification rewards, no flashy ads and animation, and no coersive gameplay mechanics that keep players hooked and playing. This game is a jewel of its age, but that age has come and gone.

Nick could add some graphics and new features. But I think he’s just done, he doesn’t care about attracting new people because he knows the current player base will still pour money into the game even if he does nothing. -

By oct brens they will have more loot than they need and their profile max’d. Playing with the big dogs buring through shots and maps like crazy hopping all over the map.

They will be set for a year, no spending and hit oct brens again stacking on even more loot. These new players have it easier than we did because the multiplier wasnt as good wwhen we started. I knew players reliading mission 6-8 times a day tying to build loot that can basically be done for free now. And if you max brens in may, what player is gonna be 6k mob by oct? Or even wants to be? They could have a great profile and fighting already.

And thats assuming they want to be fighters. Could be builders or a new fatty or a hugger that hops around the globe. There is plenty fun to be had if someone wants to play.

Players spend based on their desired style of game play. Yes you can drop alot of money on this game. As with many games. Or you could take your time, get to know the mechanics of the game, develop relationships in the community and learn how you can contribute. Its not all about brens for everyone.

Theres active small fighters right now that have more fun than some of the OP players out there. 2k-5k mobsters enjoying the game.

IMO, Nick should let another company buy 50% of TW. Meanfreepaths isn’t doing much of a good job down here and it’s been like that for a while, so why not sell half. might change this a bit, but Could shake things up lol! It’s a good way to make things work better, plus it could inspire the devs to actually do something....
