How many innocent businesses got burned down in this like when blm was hot. At least they didn’t discriminate though since it was mostly hard working black citizens that had their property destroyed. This being said I’m not condoning either action I just find it funny when you compare. At least compare with all factors

The Caitlin police would be wrong no matter what the reaction. Damned if they do & damned if they don’t
If more force was used it would be another cry of a militarized police force abusing citizenswith excessive force.
Instead they exercised extreme caution to demonstrate they aren’t abusive and had many of their own injured/hospitalized and a death while being accused of inherited racism because they didn’t use more force. Fuck both sides of the argument-
They could have and should have displayed military style force just as they should display military force when a formerly legal protest becomes illegal and fails to disperse in an orederly and immediate manner. Tear gas & rubber bullets are appropriate when they say it has crossed the line and you must disperse and go home.

We should be exercising extreme caution in a different manner when it comes to places of governance.. even ignoring the coup accusations, that 'protest' was a MASSIVE threat to our national security..
Democrats could have broke into republican offices and spied on their info. Republicans could have broke into democrat offices and spied on their info. More importantly, foreign agents could have broken into both parties' offices and spied on their info. Unfortunately there's no concrete way to tell what all went on.
It's going to take weeks, if not months to properly search that entire building for recording devices and the electronic devices therein for installed malware.

The cool thing about being a conservative is that I can absolutely condemn rioters going into the capitol building and not be a total hypocrite.
