Might get a cat for Christmas...

  Ragdolls look like they'd be really cool. I've never had a Himalayan, but I've had a Siamese & a Persian. Both were awesome cats. I adore Siamese, but you have to be ready for their distinctive "yowling."

  When I was a kid we had a house that had a long hallway running the length of the house. The floor was tile & it had floor to ceiling windows on all of 1 side that weren't doorways to rooms. Our Siamese was 16 years old & somewhat senile. He got to where he would stand at one end of the hallway at 2:00 am & start yowling, as though he had lost everyone. Lol!

  I have the cutest pictures of my Persian though. He would lay in unusual places which made for great pics, one was in the bathroom sink, another was cuddled up with a stuffed animal on it's side, resting his chin on it's side (hard to explain.)

  When I was a kid we'd sometimes name our cats by opening up an atlas & finding cities with an exotic, cool sounding names.

  Kris or Kristy, depending, for Kris Kringle if you want to keep with a holiday theme.
