Winterizing vehicles

Boat owners or anyone who stores vehicles for the duration of winter: I am looking for a cheap place to keep my boat. Winters are pretty brutal in NY and I don’t want to deal with shrink wrapping it and leaving it outside. It seems like a lot of these places are $250-$300 a month. What do you guys do?

Sup Vis it's been awhile lol. In the past I've tarped mine with bungie cords and parked it in my driveway. If you don't have the space try a self storage unit. But whatever you do don't forget to winterize it lol

Last winter I hauled it out and shrink wrapped it, and stored it in the marina boat yard.
This year, I plan to leave it at the slip with a de-icer running in the water. I may or may not shrink wrap. I might just do a boom tent to keep the snow out of the cockpit.

My in-laws take ours for the winter and keep it at their slip. Saves them from having to drive down in their car and saves us the storage fees.
