It's not serious. It's just something I can't find information about on the Internet. I thought I'd take up the kind doctors offer of free advice rather than take up a slot in with my local gp who will just tell me what I know.

Its not an immediate threat to my life. More of an on going problem that good ol' google can't help me with. I'm just bein lazy and should join a medical forum.

OTB, can you help? This sounds like a thumb problem and maybe he has an extra one for you :)

Seriously though, take what you read online with a grain of salt...unless you go to a site like mayo that actually has a ton of good info on it. Then depending on what your problem is, see both a GP as well as a surgeon...you will get different answers that way and can make a better choice.
