I used to play games on my PC using emulators. Some games played great, some not so much. I know it’s not perfected yet, but I was wondering if there was a way to know what settings would work best for each individual game? Do you guys know of such a thing or is there only “best settings” for each emulator?

A long time ago i bought the mame disc or dvds with alot of games. I cant image what they have now.

Mostly a bunch of shit.
I gave up on the terabytes of images collections.

I curate specific titles now, each with good controller mappings, fine tuned video settings, all extra media, and static memory for scores/settings.

Yeah, I only keep a few hundred on my arcade machine, but all of them are meaningful to me and play well.

I built me a pincade (pinball machine\arcade) a few years back. Had a shit ton of games from Atari to ps2 and Wii. Recently, graphics card took a dump and hard drive crashed. Only have a few systems now.

I downloaded all emulators and just tested each one, the best one is the one that stayed. YouTube is really helpful as well.

There’s a website I used to use years back that had compatability charts for a catalog of nearly every game ( if it was playable, pc specs, framerate avg, etc. ) I’ll look if it’s still up but try googling ( emulator you’re wanting to use + compatability ).
